The wait is finally over!! It’s Friday the 13th! Today is the first official day of 12 Days of VOXmas, brought to you by the Voxy Ladies, Neumann Microphones & VOICE 2014, the industry’s #1 conference for professional voice artists!
We’re still making our list & check it twice, because the donations keep rolling in for our friends at Children’s Holiday Magic Project, this year’s charity partner!
By the way & if you were wondering, YES…you can still enter to win!! You have until Dec 24th to enter, however on today (Dec 13th) we will begin raffling off prizes for the next 12 days until Christmas Eve. We will announce the winners, daily, on our Facebook fan page here and on Twitter here
Here’s what we have under our VOXmas tree to give away, today at 4:16pm(pacific). $100 in goodies from the Voxy Ladies own, Girl’s Guide to Voiceover store. Wear the love & share the love because Girl’s Guide to Voiceover, in partnership with Neumann Microphones, are proudly offering exclusive apparel designs, now available through Spreadshirt & Zazzle. Wear your heart on your sleeve (or your head) with these super-comfy shirts and hats. 100% of the hard earned money spent on these smokin’ hot Neumann & #Voiceover duds will go directly to our friends at the KIND Campaign, an organization that works tirelessly to give guidance, resources, and encouragement to young girls so that they CHOOSE to treat each other with kindness & respect.
AND, have your cake & eat it too!! Because today we’re also giving away, a “King of Carnival King Cake Package” which includes a traditional New Orleans King Cake and Mardi Gras music CD, donated by Voxy Lady and New Orleans native, Cristina Baker Woods. (Mardi Gras season starts on January 6th, the 12th day of Christmas!!)
Cristina lives and works primarily in New York as a bilingual voiceover actor. A member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA, she has acted on stage, film, television, and commercials.
Cristina has her MA in Performance Studies from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and her BFA in Musical Theater from The Boston Conservatory with an emphasis in Directing and Voice. Prior to attending the Conservatory, she studied at The University of New Orleans as a music scholarship recipient for Vocal Performance.
She is happily married to producer-director-writer, David Woods. They have a baby girl named Colette and a cat named Chauncey.
